Does this one count for Stranger street style? It is the carbage collector I shot for Men at work....
I am not completely satisfied with the framing. Our car stood in the line.....

Homeless in Davis

Here's some I took last week. I'm trying to be a little more assertive when I do it now and catch their gaze. I used some digital filters in lightroom for the effect.

Went out the other day with the explicit intent of finding some shots for this thread. Got a couple:

230mm, 1/750sec

62.5mm, 1/750sec

230mm, 1/1000sec

300mm, 1/500sec

300mm, 1/500sec

300mm, 1/180sec

260mm, 1/350sec

Crop of above

All heavily processed in LR, obv.

Rense,
Here is an edit I did to your image. If you mind please let me know and I will remove it. The image you took is really a good image, it just needed a little help. Black and white works great with street shooting, because it gives it a somber mystery look. Cropping for composition is also a great way to improve an image. With this edit the focus is now on the stranger instead of the car. Let me know what you think....Keep at it and I look forward to seeing more from you.

This is some great stuff!!!
It is allot tougher than it seems to just up and shoot a stranger, but being confident is the key. When shooting your subject, ''don't'' make eye contact. Shoot them and walk away. If you make eye contact, most will feel threatend, but if you just look, shoot and keep walking, there is no drama and you go away with out ever being a threat...Nice work and I look forward to seeing more.

Nice portrait. Not sure it really fits into street as there is no context, but it is a nice capture.

Yeah, it was my first time really doing it without a specific event taking place.

Here's one more of the street sweeper:

230mm, 1/1000sec

And thanks!

Javier, it's great . The one I posted is cropped already a little, but your crop and further pp is just magic! The strange thing is: I tried BW myself, but I decided the colour one was better. But now when I see yours, I can't believe I did not do that myself.

Have you done other things besides crop and B/W? Any filter or other effect?

Thanks!

Well Javier, tried to do some shots and conversions myself this morning. Here they are, anxious to know what you think!
