I enjoy looking at your images and trying to identify the locations, many of which I've been to.

Turns out I'm not much of a street photographer, but here are a couple "sort ofs".

On the way to Getty Center.

Here is perhaps one of my most favorite captures. I took this On Monday while packing my gear to go home. I looked out the back window of my truck anD there it was. A perfectly framed image that shows the joy of a couple in love

I took this with my Spotmatic SP2, super tak 35F/3.5 and Ilford XP-2 400 film.
That photo is awesome. The b/w is absolutely right for that shot.

Cheers
Eddie

As I continue to learn more about processing and everything that comes with it I find myself re-visiting shots i've disregarded in the past because I thought they were lacking. Or shots that I thought I couldn't do much with since they were from when I shot only JPEG. Here is one such shot that I feel fits quite nicely with this threads theme as well as the situations i describe above. A shot I took on my trip to Israel last Sept.

Original JPEG (straightened only)

A couple of shots along Hollywood Blvd. taken Memorial Day weekend. Notice the woman's hair - there was a bit of a breeze that day.
The second one with her hair in the wind is awesome!

Thank you. We should meet up one day and go for a hunt.
I like the first. It is a well framed and good capture.

I was experimenting with this. Trying to catch the shadows. Does it work, or should I trash it? I know I missed part of the shadow. This was harder than I thought.

Absolutely continue, Javier. Whether this turns into anything on its own is irrelevant. It is the creative thinking and trying of new things which helps us grow. Any sort of experiment you can think of has at least some merit.

Not street, but I had to be just as discreet:

Way wider lens, later in the day.
