And Javier hits back with some colour. I take it these are not your shots from today.

Nice series. That first shot is sweet! Last shot is also quite cool. Good capture.

Thanks Carl. These are actually over the course of about a month. While most folks have a drink in their cup holder, I have that Ricoh xr-p in mine. So when I see a shot or something interesting, I stop and shoot it. I got this roll of film developed yesterday at the one hour lab in Target.

That's a decent idea Javier, I like it (except that I don't have cup holders in my old car!).
That cheap film looks really good with the 'effect' it has.

Yea, give it a try. For a long time I even used a disposable Kodak.

Man, you have balls! Here I am, worried about heavily tattooed folk & you are taking shots of Jason reincarnate!

That's a pretty good Edward Scissor hands impersonation.

I'll make it to California one day.

I had 2 brothers so my first thought on the caption for this was:

Flash photography is one of my many weak points.
It is good in that it gets people off guard.

Try reading through http://www.strobist.com

I know that David (the blog writter and owner) shoots Nikon, but his advice is mostly universal. Using a P-TTL cord (or radio trigger) and getting the flash off the camera makes a world of difference.

Been gone

I didn't want anyone to think that you ran me off after I posted a few photos. I'm just trying not to admit to myself that the battery charger for my K-7 is somewhere between Atlanta, GA and West Palm Beach, FL.
