Javier, number 2-6 are all very good, among your best ever, and considering how many street shots you have posted here, it takes a lot for that many shots in one post to qualify to your top group! You must still be getting better at this!
Thanks Douglas. I actually took this last summer, but am just getting to them in PP.

these are really good shotes of human beings...and well composed and nice bw work also. The low sun and long shadows in the guitarr shot ads a lot.
+2 well done

Thanks Jav-liking that glass and hardly even touched it. Gonna <3 that lens real long! Love how it renders colors and it's bokeh.

Thanks Javier!
But I'm still shooting with the K-7 and a 20mm/1.8 sigma (too little light for the DA15ltd). No olympus. Doesn't matter if they see the K-7, they never know for sure if I took any picture since it is so incredibly silent.

I need to learn how to shoot from the hip. Nice work, I especially like this one.
Start practise on your kids, back home, or someone else that you can move around. Expect to get a lot of half people, people with no heads etc. Digital makes it easier to practise this. I did learn to shoot from the hip on film and ouch...that was expensive to start with. But back then my most common street camera was the LX often with the FF-1 waist level finder...

People behaved as if they know for sure that you cannot shoot with a SLR without putting it to the eye so that guy there on the street fibbling with his camera hanging down by his waist he is not shooting me, he just has some problems with his camera. I should get around to scann some of my old street shots to post here. And to have my LX serviced to take it out again (got the sticky mirror about two years ago). That is also a very silent camera. Could stand on a street with a 28mm on the camera and wait until people walked into view on the the waist level finder screen...and there I got them.

Wonder what serious matter they are talking about?

So many choices

Elevators on the central "square" on the ferry.

Eventually this ferry tour will bring us to the streets of Åbo (Turkku) in Finland.

I find having the camera at chest height is much eaiser to compose. You know sometimes when the crowd thickens and you raise you camera so you don't knock people about with it? That is the best time to start clicking with the camera at chest height. Being tall helps & you'll want a pretty wide lens.

Agreed. Although, I think they will be hitting more than the malls.
