I'm new to the challenge. Like Rigomatic, I'll be using the DFA 100. It's the nicest lens I own that I never use, if that makes any sense.
Welcome! A macro lens is always a good choice as most things look interesting close up.

After moving my lenses and accessories from a pile in a drawer onto several nicely arranged shelves, I can't find my M42 to K mount adapter, so I'll venture to my FLCS and buy another one so I can start using the 35mm, a day late but better than never.

EDIT: I found the adapter, I may still have to go to the camera store, I am sure there is something I need

22.5 miles for me, and it is one of the best Pentax dealers in the UK. Very dangerous...

eBay is always at hand which is terrible for my LBA. A Tamron 90/2.8 macro (72b) arrived today... The bonus is that it came with a KA mount which wasn't mentioned or pictured. My nearest real shop is about 10 minutes but they don't carry much Pentax stuff.

And I saw this rather sad wild trolley today. I'm not sure how it got there as it must be at least a 1/4 of a mile from the nearest road.

A day late, but I'm going to give this another whirl.

In this month with a D FA 15-30. Gotta man up for hauling this beast around.

I found it well worth the effort last May, looking at this lens very differently now - it is way more than the ultra-wide landscape lens it used to be. Have fun!

Change in plans for me: I had two beautiful models 1st and 2nd, so the FA77 is the lens for April. I will post them once back home.

This copy of the Super Takumar 35mm is not allowing for Catch in Focus on objects over 3 meters away, I will look at the images I took yesterday and decide I will stick with it on the K-1 for the month.

Yay! I'm excited to be watching from the sidelines.

As far as joining in myself goes, I've been so busy lately that I've only just realised it's the 4th already. As such I'm probably best off aiming for May.

And Gary, please no niceties around your thoughts on that lens, I'm interested and intrigued in your honest appraisal.

Right - I'm off to lurk the first few day's image threads....
