I'm thinking about giving my Tamron 17-35 one more chance before I decide I need to give it a new home.

Nice lens, I really enjoyed my recent month with it. A bit on the big side but worth it. I think you'll get on really well with it.
Thank you. That's my initial impression - a bit on a big and heavy side. But the pictures are also encouraging.

I'm in, with either the Vivitar 17mm or the Meyer-Optik 200mm. Decisions, decisions.....

Nice! I intend to rent a 645z , possibly for July 4th weekend fireworks fun.

No doubt, I hope intend to rent a 645z to see how much use I would really get out of a medium format. Between some trips to the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains a parade and fireworks, that weekend would offer a variety of circumstances to try it out.

I have a week off in the coming month and needed something compact to pack, so I will use the K 20mm f4. I single the new 21mm recently so it will be interesting to see how this lens compares.

That should be quite a change from your otherwise compact setups. A while back, I thought about why anybody would still want to buy that camera, but Mikey's recent discussion on the lenses for different formats made me reconsider. In any case, I'm looking forward to your results.

I'm in with one of my question marks, the smc Pentax-A 1:2.8 24mm for a full month this time! I think I'll use the K-1 at the start and try to capture some more 'tourist in the home town' scenes.

Its self help time. I have been too wallowy without any justification, its one of my more infuriating traits! so, head duly wobbled, I am in with my 40mm limited (last sic'd 18 months ago) on theKP with the smallest grip for that film camera feel. I also have 26 frames of Fomapan400 (masquerading as EZ400. Finding out the EZ was rebranded Foma was disappointing, but hey) sitting in my Ricoh 500RF. Now, what I am planning to do is one shot per day, no do-overs, I only have 26 frames left on the 36 exposure film! (No pressure!). Once developed, should I post them in each day of the sic (Its a Ricoh, so a bit of a tenuous link, I know), each day of the dic or a new thread in the film section? Whadyathink?

Ricoh cameras are explicitly in the rules; nothing at all tenuous there 8)

agreement with above statement - Ricoh or Pentax camera is all that is required...
