I'm in, with something on the 645Z. A shipment from Ivan Vernon arrived at my office late last week, but I won't be able to pick it up before lunchtime Monday. The anticipation is killing me!

As long as the 6x7 to 645 adaptor came with it as promised, I'll probably start with the SMC Takumar 6x7 105/2.4. I have desired one of these for a long time, so I hope it lives up to expectations....

Over the next few months I hope to work my way through the rest of the windfall

Ooohhh Ahhhh... My ears have lifted. I just received a copy of the 105/2.4 too. My plan is to shift stitch it mostly, 4 frames, so as to gather the full 6 x 7 offering. Would be great to single that lens together, however I'm restricted to freelensing it at this stage as I don't yet have a mount for it! Don't let my lens buddy dreams deter you jumping straight in with it though, it might take me a while to get my shift stitching setup sorted for that much shift.

Eager to hear what else was in your windfall.

That's it then; the 43 it is - think it'll make for an easier month too

All the 50 and 55/1.4 talk last month peaked my interest and I splurged on a DA* 55/1.4 SDM that was reduced. It should arrive tomorrow or Wednesday so that's probably my lens for July.

I'll migrate to DiC for July. Have fun and see you in August.

Actually, it was a lot cheaper used (but excellent condition with 1 year guarantee from SRS Microsystems) than I thought it would be. I had just enough in my lens fund but won't be buying anything else until I sell some stuff...

July's lens will be the Tamron Adaptall 2 SP 90 Macro. This month with the Vivitar 17mm lens has been quite a trial. Fun, but difficult. I'm always happier with telephoto's, so I'm going to be nice to myself.

There was one in Japan on eBay, supposedly mint. Once 20% vat and fees were added we were looking maybe £350. Trouble is you get no warranty. I looked at the one at SRS too lol but my budget would only stretch to around £100. Its funny, what @pepperberryfarm said about the lens is the reason why its top of my list too

An interestingly diverse clutch of lenses. Nice one!

I'm not sure yet. Either SiC or DiC, not sure if I can handle both. I'd like to use my "other" lenses more which pushes me to the DiC this time. OTOH, I have two zooms waiting to be tested here. Still a couple of days to decide.

Wow, I didn't know such a lens existed! (A 35-210). Good to learn new things
I still get surprised when I come across some oddball lenses that I have no knowledge of, this was one that was only produced for a couple of years and wasn't very popular at the time, should be fun to see how it goes

thank you, both - I've been given credit for several lens purchases lately it seems.....

one member even went so far as to suggest I change my PF handle to 'Typhoid Dave' because of how destructive I am when it comes to LBA....

all I do is take pictures every day, guys....

The 55 arrived today so I took it for a spin. Not bad for a first go, I'm very happy with it.
