I’ve fired up the Ooni for the first time - prep for first use this evening. Can confirm it indeed reaches 500ºC (pic for the day will be exhibit A; hoping that resulting pizze will be exhibits B, C, D, and E)

Oh ok good, thanks.. I noticed mine were slightly wider than all of the others and was like "oh crap, have I been doing this wrong for over a month?"

It is always better to be away from the desk doing things you enjoy than sitting behind the desk posting photos. I look forward to seeing the results of your weekend.

Generally, I avoid anything that is wider than the native column width. Since I often shoot or crop with a panorama in mind, I might share from Flickr using the highest "Medium" rather than a "Large" link.

You can post and if it's too large, just edit the post, no harm done.

I think the basic forum rule is (or was) 1024 on the long side. That’s just what I’ve always adhered to for these posts too.

By convention in this group, if we post secondary (or tertiary…) images they should be distinctly smaller than the primary one.

It was fun, but photography wasn't on my mind. I remembered to take few frames each day, but they are more like safeties.

I would guess that forum size limit is a thing of a past when connections were slower. Nowadays, it doesn't really matter much to the load times, how many shots there are per page and which size they are.

Yes - it’s always seemed a bit of an odd and small limit, with the way internet connections - and screen sizes - are.

additionally, if viewed on the mobile app, photos are all downsized to the same size for your phone/tablet experience....
