The AW and quick shift features would be nice to have but I don't think I use this focal length that much. I used to own the FA version and it was a very poor performer wide-open. Now I own the F one and it's better (I know they share the same optical formula, so maybe I was just lucky to get a better copy). And indeed, the size is its advantage.

I thought a bit about it but I guess the DA 55 needs to wait for another LBA up-and-down cycle (meaning: to sell some lenses before buying new ones).
