I look forward to watching yours ( smugmug links in the daily threads I guess; I’m four days in, four days shooting, but four days behind in posting…)
Exactly! I remember your project in SiC. I know I never got tired of it :-) Did you learn anything about your photography. Did it help with curbing GAS?
I’m still posting to SmugMug for myself but will post in Flickr for the PF challenge as that is easier for everyone. It’s not that much work to post in both. I’m taking on the
digital version that Mike posted about sometime ago which has me printing photos everyday so I need some place that it’s easy for me to review.
It’s going to be a challenge but you never know what comes out of it if you never try.

Fortunately, some of the newest lenses are starting to hit the used market. I intend to pare down my lenses to a few really good ones, and sell the rest for whatever I can get. Since I have a K-1 and a KP, I"m open to DFA, FA, or DA lenses depending on which combo I intend to use for a given situations.
I did that with my limiteds and kept the DA* strictly for outdoors, tough conditions. The Fuji is nice and all but It doesn’t feel like I could drag it out in the pouring rain like I have the K5. I shot trackside with that and the DA* 300 in torrential rains with no problem.

I've really REALLY been neglecting my hobby the past few years - when I went in to find a photo to submit for the January contest, I realized I'd only uploaded about two dozen photos to Flickr, and half of those were re-works of older shots.
The K-70 is an amazing little camera, it deserves not to be neglected.
Also if I get back in the groove, I can totally use it as an excuse to maybe grab a full frame come tax season. 90% of my lenses are FF anyway so there is no reason not to besides the cost of the camera.

Welcome back - I know I have gone though time like that myself. I found participating in the PF challenges helps me stay motivated to shoot.
Looking forward to seeing you get back into it.
