Let's see- I like some of the other takes on this a lot.

Level, curves, and tone mapping for micro-contrast. I thought the shadow-play added an extra level of detail. (Mono was just the first image converted with a blue "filter". But only the first one counts...

Ok, so, thank you all for entering some very interesting versions of my image. Back in the day, I won a black & white print competition with this photo.

Anyway, to get straight to the point, I have chosen tp1665. I really liked this colour interpretation. Very nice. Very subtle. Runner up is Fdooch. I would never thought of doing something like that. And an honourable mention to Waffles.

So, it's over to you tp1665 for the next competition. Thanks again everyone.
