My hesitation is that it lends itself to wider aspect photos that might work well in b&w in the right context (downtown in my city when I’m at work for example) but will be harder to make compelling photos in the mundane neighborhood setting I’ll mostly be able to use it in. The DA 35 macro on the other hand offers the ability to snip out small subjects within the mundane and examine them more closely offering a lot of perspectives that might be compelling in b&w. Or they may just be boring closeups of things. Lol. I’m going to play with the 21 today. Let’s see what my original (non-monochrome) k-3 does with the lens.
With 30+ lenses this choice is hard.
