I am back in after a long break. I'll be using the Super Takumar 50mm F1.4 on the K-3iii or the K-1. I love the fact that on the K-3iii it will record the aperture, if I happen to remember to change the settings and then dial in f stop I've set on the aperture ring.

After a rather poor showing last month I'll be in with the Tair 11A 135mm, one of my favourites. It will be a short month, though, as I'm off on a beach holiday for the last couple of weeks and I won't be bringing the K1. The trusty Olympus Tough TG4 will be brought out of hibernation for that.

Thanks. Wife had it first. She’s on the mend. I’m on the downhill run still I’m afraid.

Just a little politics that may or may not help, perhaps you had it first and through brute strength and determination were able to hold it off longer, sadly during your fight your wife caught it off you for which you need to apologise to her......... you're welcome

My wife has been sick, and I’ve caught it. Lol.
You gotta laugh, crying just makes it harder to focus and leads to blurry images. Swift recovery.

In the first 48 hours with the K-1 and the LensBaby Composer Pro II with the Sweet 50, I think I'm starting to get an idea of how I have to change my technique and composition before I open the shutter. This is my first time using a tilt-shift lens, so the learning curve is a bit steep for me, but I'm pleased with a few of the images, the Lens itself delivers some great results, it's all in how I use it. Being able to isolate subjects so selectively is giving me some ideas, and that's a boost to my creativity which had been lacking for a few months.

I will probably try the Edge 50 this week.

Sorry for lack of comments lately. There just hasn't been time and energy left with all windsurfing.

I'll keep shooting with it for the month, it just won't spend much time on my K-3....

For clarification; My K135 also has sticky aperture blades, so I'm kind of stuck wide open. Might try to clean them myself after this month.

I will post last six days today, Ortho is hanging in bathroom waiting to dry completely.

But I am going on airshow in two weeks so need to decide if I rent digital camera or take film. I am shooting various color films like crazy so I may have delay with posting.
