So… I’ve set up a new User mode on my KP. I was watching a video by Simon D’Entremont (if I have the last name correct) and one of the things he talked about was having one’s camera set up to catch fast action while on the way to wherever you were going, so you’d be ready to catch anything that happened.
It got me thinking about what I could set up as a functional user mode, rather than the “appearance” ones I’d set up (basically different sorts of jpgs). I also had a dive into some more settings than I’d looked at, and I’ve arrived at something interesting: the ISO auto settings, which I didn’t know were a thing. So I’ve set it to not drop the shutter speed below 1/500” (unless the ISO maxes out, which I have set to 25,600 in this case). I’m also having a go at the 27-point AF mode instead of spot or select, so we’ll see what that’s like.
Anyway. It could be interesting.
