Thanks! Yes, I think there are more bicyles in our country than humans! And we go on bikes very often, yes to our work, to the church, whatever....

#50 One who works, and one who directs...

I wanted to capture the guy who was struggling with his stuff on a barrow when the second one stepped into the frame, directing the first one where to go, and how to handle it. Typical....

#51 Transporting bricks

Many work is done on streets these days, I could fill several weeks with streetworkers without problems. So, I use them to fill in the gaps, at days I did not shoot anyone......

52 Concentrated

Today I went to the campus of the Wageningen University and Research Centre, to the Forum building. I made photos here before, for instance #2 in this series. The goal of today was to shoot some students. In the Forum building there are desks and tables everywhere, and many of these tables and desks are supplied with computers. As a result one can find working students here all over all the time. This young lady seemed to be very concentrated, but once I started making pictures she noticed me. However, photogs are not uncommon here, because of the architecture. After a few pics she went back to her own work, and I had the time to make some decent shots of her.

#53 Dragline machinist

For several months now, lots of people from several companies are busy along the river, in order to remove obstacles from the winter river bed because of the expected water rise in the future. The acces route to the ferry I have to take to get to work is lying on a dike in this winter bed and it prevents a quick run of high waters. So, they decided to tear down the dike and make a bridge instead. The result of all this work will be: a bridge, leading to the ferry that will bring us to the opposite side of the river. This dragline machinist works on this project. A spring sun allowed him to do his job with an open control-cabin, and with sunglasses on...cool!

Also from the bridge-ferry area, like #43. It was quite impossible for me to get closer .

#55 Carpenters

We are going to have new neighbours! But before they move in, there has some renovation to be done, and today the carpenters started with their work.
