Possibly in northern countries this bicycle is popular, and at us it is a novelty

Thanks Doc
I am glad you noticed the crutch and chandelier. I waited around to see if someone would drive off on it so I could capture it, but alas no one came. Still, I like that capture.

Some from today. Poor quality. I am not liking the Fuji 800 speed film for daylight shooting.

Good variety in this thread, love it. I gotta say I'm a little gear-oriented when it comes to bikes (or was it photography .-). I like the snowmobile bike a lot!

Here's a brave effort by the german rail "Deutsche Bahn" company:

You can call a bike in big cities and rent them right from the station, park them anywere, lock them up and logout for the next user.

This works with cellphone connectivity (the box at the rear wheel). The whole system is terribly vulnerable for destructive acts.
Little different in this case, just leave it in the lake over wintertime

Best, Georg (the other)

I think a Southern California vacation is definitely called for. It seems there are a lot of nice...ummm...bicycles there...
