Nice shot!

Is that a Lightning McQueen (Cars) -helmet? I don't know why, but every little boy (including my 3-year-old) seem to love that movie and it's characters.

I suspect Disney has inserted some heavy subliminal messaging in that movie as they are still making serious money with the merchandise and the movie is already a few years old.

Much underrated, steel. Both my road bikes are steel.

Took some shots of my great nephew on his bike the other day. Thought I'd share one with this thread. Not a great shot, not real sharp either, but he just wanted me to photograph him and it was really low lighting here.

Shame that I missed a bit long with the AF grabbing this one, so it wouldn't bear enlargement, but while looking for shots with bicycles, I thought this one was pretty cute:

It's from last March: we're still trying to figure out what's up with the parking meter changes.

Nice capture RML. Did they upgrade / or better yet ''downgrade'' the meters their also?

They basically changed the parking codes, and started moving meters in various states of age, newfangledness, and disrepair around; labels from other areas and all: you never knew what you'd get. They even tried just fencing off the streets and doing away with the cars entirely, eventually, as I found when playing around with a new lens one evening.

(Palm trees really look like they're from another planet to me, you know. I spent some time in Florida, once, I was like, "Wow, this is... Not Boston."
