BJake, Oh man, the higgins is there just begging to get back on the road. Rack, fenders, and is that a pannier rack on the front? Needs some TLC

Matt, you have photos of yours?

My 19 yr old Trek was sitting around for the longest (tho not as long as that JC Higgins ). Finally got her up & running. Lousy photo, but hopefully will be adding some shots from the trails/bike paths soon. Great to be riding again

I know I do but I can't find it now - I'll have to take some more.
Great (endless this year) winter commuter!

Do plan on getting the old JC Higgins going again but it needs lots of work.Bearings in both the handlebars and crank are frozen, seat is gone.Wife likes the Higgins very well,I found the smallest front sprocket and the largest rear sprocket to make it easier for her to get up hills.Found her another old one at the flea market last fall, old Rollfast which I know very little about, probably over fifty years old,all original and in good mechanical shape, good seat but needs tires bad.We used it for the ride to the mailbox until it got pretty cold.
