Great shots, Matt. I need some kind of backpack I can throw my dslr into for bike rides. Meanwhile, I carry a little Canon P&S with me sometimes - a couple from yesterday morning's ride on my 20 yr old Trek:

paulh, that is great to see the old Trek out there. What a pretty place to ride you have there too. Yeah, brining the DSLR is something I have not done yet on a ride but am planning on trying to do that. Need a tough bag in case of a fall (I seem to fall a lot). Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Jayson - we're lucky to have miles of bike paths thru woods & around the lake here. I'm leery of bringing a dslr on bike rides for the same reason - I don't fall a lot, but when I do, it's usually a big one For now, a pocket camera will do & I'll try to get some more shots this week. (Getting ready to head out as I type)

6/15 edit - I went back to the bridge area a couple days later at sunset & grabbed a couple more shots with the Canon p&s:

Love the minty bike, Rick -
Spacer - White Rock is about 30 min from me - I'll have to check it out sometime...

From recent rides at nearby parks:
