Any sports scientist will tell you it's important to replenish your carbs, so I swung by the St Andrews pub on a warm Sunday arvo. Gotta follow professional advice. This is a Pirate Bay pale ale. Wait, that's a torrent site. It's a Pirate Life pale ale, from South Australia.

I got the gruppo back in the 80s and it's still on an even older bike.

New wheels! Literally - the bike is not new, just the wheels.

I'll Xpost this here as I feel it fits the theme. I made small monopod with clamp to use on a bike. Tripod feels too big and heavy to carry along on rides. Clamp needed some modification to fit 1/4" bolt in it to connect the parts. It remains to be seen how useful it proves to be, but with 20€ expence it's already worth the money

It's good to see this thread going again. Bikes and cameras are two hobbies that fit together nicely.

There's something you don't see every day! I wonder where one buys replacement tires and tubes for penny farthings?

This is my '88 Basso, which a relative gave to me before I was quite big enough to ride it. I've put many thousands of miles on it since then, even though it's actually a little small for me now.

The bike is actually a contemporary build from the original plans. The only design concession has to do with the cranks and pedals. He is part of an organized High Wheeler group so I assume they have their sources.
