RichardS, my family is pleasantly surprised that so many people in Australia love bicycle rounds. And a doggy in a trailer delighted us! We such did not yet see!!
Thanks, drmartin. I also thought it cute that the dog has its own water bottle (bidon) :-)

How do you carry your camera when you go for a ride? This is my bike (another snapshot), so you can see I don't have cargo space

Maybe a back-pack?

<snip> Anyway I love bikes too, so I'll add this to the thread:

Moab with Max

I've looked at this photo a few times now. I really liked it (as a photo) the first time I saw it and it's growing on me. I've had encounters with fluffy little monsters that want to bite my ankles, a Rhodesian Ridgeback that must have mistaken me for a lion (it launched itself at my head), but I've never seen a dog carrying the spares. It's great

Richard.

RichardS, you have a very beautiful and rapid bicycle! I think to you to convey a photo bag and tripod problematic. The sporting landing on a racing frame does not suit to the photographer with a sack on the back I and my friends use mountain or hybrid -bicycles. There is the vertical landing on them, but low speed. True in Russia of not razgonish'sya- of road very bad. We use luggage racks as on a photo which you rotined in this thread.

Thanks. I was afraid that was going to be the answer.

Here is a bike photo of me. Yes, it's me indeed, or at least my shadow. And it is quite challenging to shoot your own shadow when you're riding a bicycle...

You have to be very keen to ride in that snow.

Shiny! And clean! How long before you let the bike get dirty?

It's collecting grime, but it'll be street grime. This bike is a fitness/commuter type with slick tires and won't see any time in the woods (nor will I - had enough of that in the Army a few decades ago).

Thanks, my friend. No flies yet, but - hey - it's coastal Texas, so we've knocked off a few mosquitos already.
