Ok...I have finally gotten around to posting something on this thread. I am a fairly avid rider, but simply don't carry my camera with me on the bike. I did take my camera with me last week when I went into town to check out the weekly circuit races in Portland's Mt. Tabor park. Now I am not an action/sports photographer and seldom shoot anything that moves except for the occasional bird. I also am doing a little bit of photo discipline where I have resolved to shoot mostly with my new FA 77/1.8 limited until I fall in love with the lens.
So there I was with my tiny short tele shooting bikes in rapidly dimming light. AF off, TAv mode, pre-focus and anticipate. Here are the best of the heavily cropped results...
