There is a lot of glass in this image. There are the 3 green houses that have real glass in them. That is the School of Architecture building behind them . . .

Authentic fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror of a vintage Chevy . . .

I was inside and the rain was outside, but it looks the opposite, which I find cool. I think it would be quite easy to do an entire series like this, picking the background differently and getting various bokeh effects.

Shot with the Cosina 100mm macro, which is a nice light plastic lens I should use more often, but never find the time for. I do think this is one of my all-time faves. Heck, I think I'll post it in the reflections pool as well.

If I'm going to post three in a row I want them all to be different. Or all related.

I remember taking this shot and having a mother and son walk by behind me. The boy stopped and asked "what is he doing?" and the mother muttered something about not asking questions of mad people.

(Actually, people here are very distrustful of anyone with a camera. It's just not part of the culture.)

This is a typical "olde worlde" thatched cottage of the type that used to be common, but is now rare. Most have been converted to B&Bs.

I took this shot by pointing straight up. No textures of frames added... this is what I saw. It's some branches or vines growing over a glass roof.

Ireland just wouldn't be Ireland without it. Shot out of a library window when I was deep in research.

Church windows . . .

Stained glass windows . . . There are 6 unique panels on each side and a multiple panel on the front. These would be fun to take at night with the A 50mm f1.2 and pod . . . note the string instrument in the one panel . . .

A few rather domestic shots coming up now. The first one works for me because of the windows above and below. It was taken in a rather dodgy alleyway here in Limerick. I wonder if they are selling any of the windows and how do they get customers?

Whereas this one was shot in Ontario. I love the colours, especially the bands. And the formal arrangement of the windows brings this alive a bit.
