Hey, these are very artistic shots - yeah, I love that hubcap...

Here's something that was so wrong from the start: I had the wrong lens (DA70) and the wrong camera (ZX-10 with reluctant mode switch) set on auto focus... the idea would have worked better with a wide angle, prefocused shot. Who knows, maybe even a digital camera

But, I like the strangeness of it

I agree. Some of these are very artistic looking shots, rather than accidental.
Really like this capture.

Yes, some are best efforts despite having the wrong equipment, wrong settings, wrong person behind the camera... and others are just plain accidents.

thank you, mickey.

Here are two more from my ample supply of So Wrong Photos:

What is so wrong about this shot? It is made with Konica mount Vivitar 200/3.5 on the K100D. I bought the lens at a camera show - a "KA" mount, no contacts and the aperture ring had an "EE" rather than "A" setting. I figured well, it's a Vivitar so the naming conventions are diffrent, and a KA is a K/A, right? EERRRP! It will mount, sort of, but won't get infinity on a K mount camera. I do have a Konica to use it on...

++++

Bessa 66 - one of my favorite shots with the Bessa. Note the focus plane is all the way to the right. This is because I didn't have the folding mechanism extended all the way, the bellows and lens were at a tilt and shift position. Un-intentional for sure.

Cut off part of his head and waited until a rose petal drifted past her nose.
What can I say?

Here is a well underexposed shot. My focus point was the clown over to the left that you can't see. Obviously this is a massive crop. Kept only what was not pure black. film seems to crop better than digital. I don't know.

Oh man, this one just cracks me up! Probably because I have two Boxers that are camera shy. Without fail, bring camera to eye - dog walks away...

I took this pic of dad's car in the garage with the White Balance set for incandescent light. I like it though.

About a month ago, we were a weekend out with my family: parents and sister+family. Early spring, so I was happy to see some dance mosquitos in the garden (the only time I am happy to see mosquitos...). I ran out, made a photo of it with my newly aquired SPII + SMC-Tak 135/3.5....without looking at the background. I don't really know what is in the background, but I like the photo anyways....

Javier, that doesn't look too over exposed, though by standards I suppose it is

Kodak Retina IIa - unsharp and shot on the run... but I like how the photograph communicates...

Incredibly shite timing. I'll admit i was trying to get the person and ball in the photo. Slam dunk was old news, so i managed to snap a net and a Canon photographer.

Right timing, but framing is way off.. would have really liked his expression on his face in the photo, but i can remember his face because he was one of few who scored a slam dunk. Obviously, interesting subject is OOF and have managed to get the Canon photographer in the background in focus.. damn!
