Sepia 50mm...Winners

Not the easiest of subjects, being narrow in choice but a great competition and congrats to each and every entry, well done.

Took quite a bit of thinking about to come up with final decisions.

Highly commended ;

The subject of this shot is very well handled and particularly suited to Sepia IMO.
I only wish the first stone had been a bit more in focus.

This shot is a brilliantly worked out subject. Again portraying something very historic suits Sepia perfectly.

Third Place :

Well done, the framing and format make for a very nice shot.

Second Place :

Nice landscape shot. I was a little put off by the tree trunk in foreground of shot at first, but taking it out would have left a rather empty scene, I thought.

And the winner is........

This shot caught my eye from the beginning. I particularly like the dog in the background "when are you going to be finished with that?"

A nice contemplative shot, well posed with wine glass. Congratulations, Skyntara!

I am open to criticism if you wish, lol. lol.

I just noticed, winner is another Aussie. Dont worry, it not a case of us Aussies sticking together

Thanks for the honorable mention! It was a very cold morning and I was lucky to catch the sun coming though the trees on my subject. Congrats to the winners!

edit: It actually wasn't posed either. I seriously just turned around and snapped off a couple of shots.
