Taken Last week at Auburn Botanical Gardens.

My mate wandered off looking for a shot and I tried to get his camera in sharp focus with him OOF in the background.

Unfortunately I had my brand new Sigma HSM II 2.8 70-200mm on my *istD. The Sigma is HSM only and the *istD is screw drive only.

I tried to nail the MF with just the stock screen but struggled somewhat.

I still like the pic.

Wow! There are some very talented Pentax photographers on this thread. It's been awhile since I posted anything, but here is a shot I took of a pond in a corporate center. It's a double exposure of a tree reflection. One of the exposures is in focus and the other completely out of focus.

Something a little more sombre. I think the "soft" affect is very applicable in this situation.

This is actually an out of focus shot, but I kept it anyway because I liked it myself

Here is one taken with the KMZ Helios 44M 58/2 wide open. I like the dreamy, watery feel of this shot...

Pinhole lens

How about a soft focus image taken with no glass on the front of the camera?
Taken with a GX20 with a bit of aluminium foil with a 0.3mm pinhole on the front.

I'm probably the only person who likes this photo, but I do. Taken at the Brompton Cemetery in London. I call it "A Wing and a Prayer".
