One of my early attempts with the DA 55-300. Heavily cropped and not as sharp as I would have liked.

These pigeons were circling my neighbourhood all summer long. Guess they finally migrated? DFA 100mm macro, not the best lens for such photos, but its sharp and contrasty, so its very versatile

Would a BIF by another name smell as sweet?



I hope this is not out of place here. Someone called it a BIF and I liked the idea. Hope you do to.

Haven`t shot too many birds or BIF`s lately but last month I had a go at the annual murmuration of European Starlings. These shots were captured in 2 different locations over a period of 2-3 weeks because the birds weren`t really cooperative (short and low flying).
