Thanks,
There's a story here...... First week Hayden Valley is open in Yellowstone. Saw this Heron and watched him fishing for quite a while... After he caught his fish, these two guys show up with very expensive Canikon equipment. The first guy walks right up near the Heron. I felt he was going to scare it so just waited and caught the Heron as it left. His friend slid down the bank the other direction and scared off a pair of ducks. I don't think they ever got a shot.....

Will this count as a BIF, I wonder? It is TAKING flight at any rate, and the next burst shot has it fully in flight but with its head outside the image frame!

Newly ringed robin flying from my daughter's hand. Lucky girl - we got to accompany a ringer, and she got to hold her favourite bird, for a very brief moment.

Nice shooting. We may have Golden Eagles near here, plenty of Bald Eagles. I have not seen one. How big are they compared to a Bald Eagle? I've seen videos of Golden Eagles knocking sheep off mountains - they must be big.

Thanks,
They both look about the same size to me. The Golden is supposed to be slightly larger.
There are Bald Eagles along this same part of the river...

Sharing some of my recent BIF shots. The first two were Sooty-headed bulbul, the last two were Black-headed sibia, all taken with my K70 and Sigma 150-500mm.
