Good to know, because I don't have a 27" monitor myself.

A more humble lens for these ones: DA-L 55-300. Won't stand up so well to the 27" monitor test, but this lens is hard to beat for value.

not as good as what the others post I am afraid

but this was my first encounter with a Great Blue Heron and I wasn't ready when it decided to launch from the other side of the pond and come directly at me

I was attempting to change the lens' zoom and focus and had no time

[ I also was fighting an instinct to duck ]

I am not sure if this has been posted before or not
