A bird that may not have been posted in this thread before - a Gannet on the prowl, it was dive fishing for bait fish near the Matapouri river mouth in Northland New Zealand along with a couple of mates. Wonderful to watch as they penetrate the water from a height of about 8-10 metres above. Didn't catch the dive but the soaring on the I metre wing span is beautiful. (K3 & DA 55-300 HD)

Trumpeter swan K33 made three passes at a pool before landing. I got about 60 well-focussed BIF's. (K-3 and DA 55-300mm PLM).
