Thanks, it's definitely hit and miss with MF mirror lenses, so I'll be hanging out for a non-mirror telephoto to try my hand at BIF photography again.

That's good, because the suggestion I was trying to make was to crop less than the shots of the stilt and the ibis seemed to be.

The pelican shots are terrific.

Yellow Billed Egret nearing it's perch, and like the Heron, will vocally make known its approach.
