The question, Norm, is why?
There are some nice pics in there.

I tend to post in threads that have been posted that day, and I didn't have this one bookmarked. It's bookmarked now.

Thank you, Peter. I cropped. I nearly always crop my BIFs, but one benefit is control of the composition in post.

Here's another reedling. You can never have too many reedlings.

Gorgeous bird. Unfortunately I canīt post any wildlife images here, since
I only work B&W film with the only Pentax I have. I also love photographing
birds in flight. Here is a link

Absolutely amazing humming bird photos. They are the ultimate BIF-challenge, and you have obviously put a lot of effort into mastering it! Those photos are, both in terms of effort and skill, beyond anything I will ever reach - but I still enjoy doing point-and-shoot hummingbird BIFs when I get the chance, which is rarely enough. I guess a bit like the slightly-burned-but-still-satisfying rillette that I cook from our leftover bits of duck and goose around the holidays...

It's been a while since I have seen a hummingbird. Can't wait for the world to open up again...

Weave a few images of a Golden Eagle that my have adopted a long row. We've seen the two of them flying over the gravel pit together, wing tips almost touching, day after day. They really do seem to be a thing.

from the Ngorongoro Crater

can't remember the id of the bird

it was perched at the hippo pond/picnic area and took off as I chased it with the camera and lens trying for a good shot
