I wanted an interesting first image for my Technical-Lens test Album - something far more interesting than my lens test images typically are.

I'm holding a 62mm ED glass lens element from a large format Nikkor 270mm f/6.3 4X5 lens which, due to negligence of its previous owner developed a catastrophic fungus problem
- curiously, the ED lens was the only lens untouched by the fungus.

FA 31mm f/1.8 @ f/2.8 - manually focused - Wireless AF540FGZ+Honl 1/8th Speed grid used
