No, this one. Regrettably, all my images that day are very noisy. I'd forgotten to reduce the ISO back down from 1600. I was shooting with my old *istD wasn't that good at high ISO.
Oh yes, Sentimental Journey. Somewhere I have shots of that plane on film, from back in the 1980's. It was brought to Paine Field several times for the annual air show there.

I always liked how the skin was polished rather than painted, and the nose art was well done.

Oops! I wrote Clarke Field. I think I should have said Paine Field.

I had a flight in the B17 and in a B25 Mitchell.

This plane sort of randomly flew overhead while I was taking photos at a First Friday event downtown this summer. Taken with the DA* 50-135, heavily cropped. Never figured out why it was there, or why it drew a single curved line of smoke and then left. It's from the Battle Creek squadron from its tail mark, but I think it's an old one. Probably on its way to an airshow or something.

I was going to ask where Clarke field was. Then I went back and had another look, and thought I saw the World's Largest Building in the takeoff shot, and saw you added another picture, showing the Boeing flightline.

I've been in, around, and taken off and landed at that field many times over the last 40 some years.

So do you have shots of the Mitchell?

The Mitchells are my favorites.

A while back, while making a delivery I had to stop and wait while they moved a 777 from one line to another. (From my dirty windshield series)

Nice - looks like a Grumman F6F Hellcat, a carrier-based Navy WWII fighter. Here's one under restoration at the CAF hangar, Camarillo, CA.

Then you might like these pix of me taken 51 years ago when I was building a control line B25 model. I won a prize for it at a model show. Those in Brisbane, Australia will know the name of the chap who sponsored the prizes. He was Arthur Gorrie who owned a hobby shop in Woolloongabba. The reason Queenslanders will know that name is because a notorious Brisbane gaol has the same name.

I still have that trophy on my shelf together with one from the RAAF for being Dux of Queensland Squadron Air Training Corp (the Air Cadets). All the other trophies I won over the years for model boat racing, etc., have been thrown out,

This fellow decided to leap out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft.

And I wonder where he comes from.

By heck, you do get around!

Are you ever home?

I think you need a 1/4-20 threaded bolt in the middle of your dash upon which you can permanently mount a camera!

Looks like the jump was necessary to proclaim his patriotism for Scotland!

I'd do the same.

In the 5 years I have been driving a truck I have covered over 500,000 miles (804672 kilometers), all of the lower 48 and 6 Canadian provinces. My first year I ran about 130,000 miles (209215 k), the second around 145,000 (233355 k). The third year I took off at Christmas to get the left hip replaced, and a year ago I did the same for carpal tunnel surgery, so I didn't cover so much ground.

When you cover an average of 700 miles (1127 k) a day it adds up quick.

And I have considered putting a mount up a few times.

Maybe I should quit considering and start doing!

A related aircraft not a F-86 but a CAC CA-27 mk32 Avon Sabre. 50 percent more powerful due to its Rolls Royce Avon 26 engine
and instead of the 6x 50cal guns it has 2x 30mm aden canons.
