These suckers go right over my house maybe 10 days out of the year (when the wind is just right), and I swear a good baseball arm could hit the underbelly. This shot was straight up with my K20D and DA*50-135 racked out.

This past weekend was the Toronto International Air Show. It's way too busy downtown and at the CNE grounds so we pack up the kids, a picnic basket, and my camera and go sit at the west end of the Lester B. Pearson International Airport.

All these were taken with the K20D and Sigma 70-300. It's not my favourite lens but it's the longest one I have. The sky was a BRIGHT GREY, so metering was tough, and I avoided spot metering because I've got the Katzeye focusing screen and I find that I can't trust it with spot metering.

Is that the "new" museum at Dulles? "New" meaning I haven't had a trip to DC to go see it since they moved in... :/

A couple of new airplane pics to post - I went thru the Experimental Aircraft Ass'n museum in Oshkosh WI with my brother last weekend, and here are a couple of shots I've finished up with. Both are air racers, one a Bugatti (yes the car maker) fromt he 1930s and one a modern little screamer from the 1980s...

Yes. My wife had business in Richmond so I took the opportunity to run around Washington D.C. for about 10 hours one day. Spent most of it at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
I am gonna bend the thread description a little.

Yea. Think I will post more in me own thread in the other section sometime soon.

Not what you had in mind? Well, I was on an airplane.
Okay. I'll play nice.

Just to let some of you off the hook, the last image is of a 1/9th scale radio controlled B-17. But "Aluminum Overcast", the third image, was the real thing.
