Looks like they did: Goleta Air and Space Museum: Boeing 307 N19903

The Stratoliner was carefully hoisted from the water on March 29, 2002. On June 14, Boeing announced that they intend to restore the Stratoliner to flightworthy condition within a year. Boeing rolled out the restored Stratoliner on June 13, 2003. It is displayed at the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles International Airport.

Boeing is celebrating 100 years this month, and are assembling numerous planes of historical significance at Boeing Field in Seattle. Perhaps they will bring that plane in too.

I'm going to Founder's Day tomorrow. It is one of several days the company has set up to mark the first 100 years of Boeing. It is taking place at the Museum of Flight, at Boeing field. As I mentioned, there will be many planes on display that are part of the company history, but none of the literature I have seen mentions which ones.


So maybe the 307 will be there, or maybe it won't.


I hope it isn't raining.

Well, not exactly with a Pentax, but this is what happens when you are bored at El Paso TX airport, your flight gets delayed for over 2 hours and all you have is a point and shoot and a thick glass overlooking the runway.
All with my humble Fuji F600 point and shoot and tweaked in Photoshop.

A Harrier on display at the Boeing Museum of Flight. After attending the Boeing 100 Founder's Day event we took a walk through the museums historic aircraft display.







The light was all wrong for a decent shot, so I made a series of bracketed photos with the intent of making an HDR picture.
