Back in the early 90's the owner of this shopping mall commuted between his properties in this.

He was a wealthy business owner. Pretty sure he must had pilots and drivers.

I got my K1000 in 1989 or so. So this pic was most likely early 90's. Definitely before the observation deck that is now in this location.
I'm not sure but I think this Pan Am is an A300. The San Juan Airport went thru major renovations and expansions during the 90's.



I need to keep digging, but I kind of remember that same day photographing a pair of ANG A7 Corsair IIs landing as well.

Copied with a Pentax K5IIs, and A50mm f1.7 lens with a Pentax Auto Bellows M and Slide Copier For Auto Bellows M.

Recently found negatives.
Bell X-1 at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington DC in the fall of 1992
Pentax K1000 (what else?) / Takumar 28-80/ Kodak Gold 200

Nice shots ! I live 10 minutes from there and still have not gone over to see that DC-3.
