1st is a USAF HH-60 CSAR helo at low altitude in front of a fog bank, about to drop a swimmer, during the 2009 airshow and the 2nd is one of the Blue Angels beginning a high-g turn during the 2010 airshow. Both taken with my K10D and a FA 100-300mm lens at 300mm.

The first aircraft is a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy and the second one a Douglas C-47 Skytrain (or Dakota as more widely known in RAF service and outside USA).

Great pic of a rare big bird!

I was about to post another C-130H Hercules picture, but this is a cargo plane not of the "mean" ones!

Taken with K-5IIs + Bigma 50-500 @ 500mm, F9, 1/400 (ISO 320 or 400 If I recall corectly).
