A helicopter is a kind of aircraft, so I suppose it goes here. From the NAS Whidbey annual open house. Shot with my iPod Touch 6 as they made me take my K5IIs back to the car.

I asked the same thing. The open house announcement said cameras would be allowed. But security stopped me as said something about zoom and telephoto lenses. I pointed out I had a 28mm mounted, a moderate wide angle.

They were not moved.

Apparently they know everything about cameras.

The local airport. The helicopter is some kind of military testing. It's loud!

This would have been a pretty fair shot if I hadn't clipped the horizontal stabilizer!

The first of a few from RIAT at Fairford, UK. The Ukranian SU27 flew a very photogenic display, probably helped by the fabled Sun turning up and that simply spiffing cammo.

We also snagged some stickers, a patch and a big mug from the crew. Which was nice.
