This house was literally next door to the Ivy league house even though the both had large yards.

The first images shows the proximity. The edge of the Ivy league is to the right. This is with the 21mm ltd.

Berts Motel. You can check in but you can never leave. On US 90 between Tally and Monticello.

This is an abandoned service station on U.S. 19 about 5 miles south of Monticello, Florida. Its been abandoned for at least 6 years. That sign is about to go.

This top (large part) of sign swings in wind . . .

This abandoned mini-mart and service station is on the corner of down town Lloyd, Florida in western (central) Jefferson county.

Its been closed for a while. The last price of gasoline was $1.14/gallon.

Only the frame and post remains of the sign.

This is all that's left of the air conditioning system.

Ray, It is really sad to see all those abandoned buildings. They do make for some fantastic photos though.

Its bittersweet. Photographing them is a lot of fun though. The troublesome part is the truly historical buildings like old school and church buildings that may be one of the few things left from by gone communities. Here is a good example. This old school has been raised since this image was taken about 5 years ago. It is in west central Florida in Hardee County, near Wauchula. There was also an abandoned church nearby. The school is gone. I don't know about the church and cemetery. The school was said to be haunted.

Abandoned . . .

This is an abandoned business and service complex in a rural area near the Capitola community in Leon County, Florida.

Every thing is faded from the sign. It seems like I recognize the shape of the sign but can place it. I wonder if there are any vintage cokes in that vintage coke machine . . .

This building is next door . . .

The fan has no blades which gave it the allusion of running when driving by . . .
