Being in Maine, 'Urban' is usually a comparitive thing.

This building is currently being torn down and has a huge mess going on with the discovery that it was pretty much built out of asbestos.

I discovered this one day after living in town for like 5 years.

This hunk of machinery is basically a huge lawn ornament It hasn't moved that I've ever known of since moving up here back in '05.

I've took a few shots of this place over the years. It was our neighboring house up until last Easter when it was burned.

Its amazing how many shopping carts wind up far from home in this town.

Wllm - love that Indore twister shot.

Couple more from me :-). Both taken in an abandoned Seminary. The attic room which had nice decay and peeling paint. The lovely staircase, this was in pretty good condition but in the same abandoned building.

Not sure why this thread has died a natural death-there is so much urban decay around-so, giving it a bump.
