It's amazing to see how everyone interpits the same picture. Should be an interesting conclusion.

I am changing my entry. The first one I submitted is no good. I like this one better!

I really wonder why you would like this one better???

Incidentally, did she get caught short whilst on the road, and had to make a quick stop, at where ever?

Does this work? I really like thw whole shot, so a crop didnt make sense to me. When i see old weathered structures i like to desaturate a lot or just go B&W. The vignetted shots above are more my style as well. But, in an attempt to avoid posting the same interpretation of the shot as everyone else, i decided a to take an approach that i wouldnt normally take. Hope you like it.

nothing too ingenious on my prt as I couldnt drag myself away from the type of PP I would have done to this had it been my photo. Im not completely happy with it, and am noticing some spots that bother me as I type this, but here it is is anyhow.

Getting some great results here. Keep em coming the comp finishes on Friday so only 2 more days to go then the winner will be announced on Saturday which gives them enough time to post a new challenge for Monday.

Bruce, I like your edit, it looks very natural.

I went with false color on this one:

Firstly let me thank all the participants in this little challenge. It was interesting to see the different takes on the same subject and I must say that everbody did a great job...well done guys! Now the selection of the "winner" is a purely subjective one, it just boiled down to the one that I liked the most....and (drumroll!!!) the winner is MRRiley (Mike Riley). Well done Mike and this thread is now passed into your capable hands for the next exciting PP challenge! The winners pic and the two runners up are below:

The winner!

First runner up...Bramela

Second runner up....Seamuis

Glad to see the competition off to a good start, Congrats Mike.

Just a suggestion Oz, in the competitions, we usually cut and paste the winning picture into the announcement post. We also usually pick two runners up and show them as well. People tend to get more involved that way. We also usually open a new thread for the announcement.
It's also a good idea to use the Username in the announcement to avoid confusion.

These are just suggestions mind you, it's your comp and you can run it anyway you like.
