Probably more motion blur but this one reminds me of an illustration from a 1950's comic book because of the lack of focus.

This little bird flew by whilst I was trying to compose a nice landscape and I would have loved to have the bird and the sign in focus. Especially since the sign warns that there is a bird breeding ground beyond it. It would have made a very nice combination. The bird was to fast anyway!

Thanks Dale. It looked quite good on my K200D screen.. then.. I realised it was.. well.. not as i'd hoped it to be basically. Ahh well.

Amen to that...but I must report, of the hundreds upon hundreds of OOF images taken with my K-7 while in Italy in Sept, replacemnt parts are apparently on order at Pentax U.S. repair. I'm hopeful for better luck next time. At least I have an excuse to return

Are u kidding me? This is perfect the way it is...The blur looks like motion blur and it adds allot of mystery to the shot.
