PP Competition #4 - Sept 8 - Sept 11

Hi all,

As a landscape photographer, I always look for something very interesting subjects and forms in every places but sometimes the weather is not cooperating/undefined as a result some of my photos are not good in terms of exposure, framing and handling..

So the challenge is to post process or recover a photo make something different if any or add some artistic you like.

As the title explain itself...take this image and post-process it to your heart's content. Submissions close at 23:59 11th September GMT, and the winner will be announced the following day.

Sorry if we are using jpeg here, can't upload the raw file.

Click the following link for the respective versions:
Original RAW: IMGP7138.jpeg --> http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/8776/imgp7138.jpg

Small version of the photo:

For me I like how you control the light, tone, colors, contrast.

Good luck, and have fun guys!

And per usage, I'm going to take a leaf from Mike's post: "The original photograph remains the property of the original photographer. Members of Pentax Forum are granted full authorization to alter or manipulate said image for the purposes of the Post Processing Challenge. They are also granted permission to use the resulting image for their own personal non-commercial purposes. Original EXIF must be maintained identifying the original photographer." (Thanks to Mark for reminding me to post this!)

A challenging shot to work on. I've got my attempt done but I want to look at it on my other computer later tonight before I submit.

I hope you've cleaned your lens since this shot Ansbert.
I also noticed you have many hot pixels.
Working on my entry.

Yes this is a tricky one. Mostly done in LR with some tweaking via Topaz Labs.

A hard image to work with. I finally got it beat somewhat into submission.

PS to Ansbert - your original JPG does not have (c) info. I did leave what there was (camera info) intact.
