HOARFROST. Been a while since I've seen any. What a pity! (he says sarcastically)

KNOCKER.
That juxtaposition, almost as good a word as "yellow" on this thread, reinforces an impression of architecture: modern looks clean, but old is feast for the eyes.

Exactly my feeling too. Modern is neat yet forgettable, old is crumbling but fascinating.

From time to time new architecture does something interesting, such as the Sidney Opera House, but far too much of it is just a big glass cereal box, sometimes a little distorted.

Sherrvonne, obviously you've got a good dog there.
The Australian Cattle Dog was bred in the mid 19th century from a drover's dog and a dingo (Australian native dog), also known as Blue Heelers, Red Heelers and Queensland Heelers.

Edit: here's a wiki entry that details introduction of the dog to US and Canada.

My favorite dogs, they are so smart.

FYI: If you've never seen nor heard about the ACD named "Skid Boot" try googling the name. A remarkably smart dog who, had he been trained that way, might have been able to learn as well as the now-famous border collie "Chaser." AND, if you don't know about "Chaser," read about the dog that learned the names of over 1,000 objects (toys) and could follow three word commands, if the word order was correct.
Looking this up!

PROTOTYPE AUTOMATIC RECORD CHANGER - - never put into production. Small wonder. Would you want this monster in your home?
