I think most of what you like about it is due to its being a film shot. And not a fancy film, just Kodak Gold 200 in a ZX-5 with F 35-70 lens. This is a scan I made from the negative. I have a nice print of it which I intend to give to my sister-in-law this weekend.

I should have guessed it was film! :-)

One of these days I ought to pop a film into my old Olympus OM-20 and re-explore that world. I think about it a lot, but never quite get around to it. Digital is so easy, and I suppose I am getting too used to the convenience...

It is definitely a great shot, I am sure your sister-in-law will be very happy with the print.
