That is a cool quilt.There was one I did not photograph at this year's town fair that has a story. Each year the town adopts an emblem appropriate to the theme of the fair, for example, one year the theme was "through the seasons" so the emblem was a circle with a symbol for each season in the four quadrants, plus the year of the fair. These emblems are made into embroidered patches that are sewn onto sweatshirts or the corner of blankets, and also are printed on T-shirts, al these sold to raise money to support the fair. Well, someone collected old T-shirts, sweatshirts etc. snipped out squares that included embroidered or printed emblems for the past 20 years and made a 4 X 5 patch quilt, plus a decorative border. I thought it neat, but it was displayed in such a way as to make a picture difficult and unsatisfactory.
