there are folks who play rugby and soccer [ Football to the rest of the world - how does that work with NFL Europe any way, is it called US football or what ? ]

here I thought Canadians played just hockey and curling, or are those just the national religions???
[in case it isn't clear to folks, i'm just teasing, I hope in a friendly way- I kinda like bowler hats and most sports, even if have no idea what they are or how they are played - cricket that is, I do know how hockey, curling, soccer and rugby are played
the skills necessary to play them can be amazing
I especially like a sport if it gets the kids off the video games and active for healthy reasons.

this is now considered "folk art", as I understand it, as parts of the State of Kansas was settled, due to the lack of native trees, a layer of limestone close to the surface would be "quarried". One of its natural features is that it was soft enough to be shaped for a period of time and it was used for many purposes including creating fence posts to enclose the prairie being farmed - follow the links for more information
