Happy dogs - or happy kids at play - things that always gives my heart a little boost.
Strata, all volcanic ash and no place where a human wants to be when any of it was falling. However, the small almost-white layers probably represent no-hope-for-survival events. The reddish color at top is a consequence pf baking when these ash falls were overridden by a lava flow.
