Zygomatic arch (or just zygoma). Don't try to identify this skull, It's Borophagus, a type of extinct carnivore that had jaws & teeth adapted to crushing bones rather than slicing, so it probably had habits akin to modern hyenas.

C is for Cat

Amur Leopard Panthera pardus orientalis

extremely rare in the wild and also in captivity according to this source:

" With only 30 - 40 remaining in the wild, the Amur leopards are listed in international, federal and regional levels as critically endangered andare in immediate danger of extinction.

In captivity, the situation is also very serious, as interbreeding with animals of unknown heritage has affected a large percentage of the captive breeding pool. Because of this, of the 150 remaining in captivity only 12 are purebreds. " - http://www.amurleopard.com/

the zoo claims 35 in the wild - https://www.kansascityzoo.org/ouranimals/list-of-animals/amur-leopard/

Delighted or Delrious or Demented? Or all three?

'Bout time I posted a Pentax pic, either way. I love my K-S1. Delightful sensor, that one.

Birthday joy!

Not that it's a big deal, but I just noticed that your "Vase" post was number 36000 on this thread.

Mower bar, creepy looking thing. Glad I'm not grass.
